    6:00 - 8:00 PM

Meet members of Emory’s growing alumni  and professional network impacting the Green industry.

Are you driven by a desire to create a positive impact through your work, looking for inspiration from the sustainability journeys of others, or just curious about the opportunities in this field? Green Networking Night is an informal networking opportunity for students to meet Emory alumni and colleagues working in GREEN CAREERS. across all functions (research, law, sustainability, marketing, and more!)

    • Networking Opportunities: Engage in meaningful conversations with Emory alumni who have excelled in diverse green professions.
    • Refreshments: Enjoy light refreshments and beverages while mingling with fellow students and professionals.

This event has been planned to embrace and support Emory’s sustainability vision by reducing environmental and social impacts and, in many cases, reducing costs by:

    • Eliminating polystyrene (Styrofoam) and single plastic use.

    • Not only having recycling and composting bins available throughout the event space, but educating our guests on how to find and use them.

    • Serving tap water with reusable, recyclable, or compostable cups. We strongly encourage you to bring your reusable water bottle!

    • Using compostable, paper, or plastic items only. Again, there will be no Styrofoam or unnecessary single-use plastic at this event.

    • Eliminating paper by utilizing electronic invitations, communications, signage, and surveys. You will even be asked to recycle your name badge at the conclusion of the event.
